The Gambian Vice President and minister of Women’s Affairs Isatou Njie Saidy who is currently attending a two-week United Nations gender conference in New York, has said that her ministry is working on a decade’s 2010 to 2020 program for women. Mrs. Njie Saidy, who gives the Jammeh-regime its human (e) face, claimed the government has made “major inroads” on the path to gender equality since 1994.
