Antouman Saho Picked Up

The Gambia Journal has learnt that the former Minister of Fisheries, Water Resources and National Assembly Affairs, retired Major Antouman Saho was arrested on the evening of Friday 5^th. It is not known what Mr. Saho was arrested for but family members told The Gambia Journal that man with and without police uniform came to pick him up and that his whereabouts remained unknown till Saturday morning. It was last month that Mr. Saho, together with several other ministers was removed from office by mercurial Gambian leader Yahya Jammeh. The number of military officers arrested and detained this past month is alarming according to a Banjul-based correspondent.
